PÁDUA RAMOS


He was born in 1931 in Mozambique.


In 1959 he took the Architect degree at ESBAP (Architecture Faculty of

Oporto) final mark 20.


He won several architecture awards in Portugal and the “European

Community Design Prize 1990”.


In the 50’s, he took the first step in his design object creation.


One of his pieces was choosen as trophy for the 1994 Fado’s Contest.


In 2002 another of his pieces was choosen as a poster to the Goldsmith

Exhibition at the Amalienborg Palace – Copenhagen in Denmark.


He was given a mention in the “Guia de Arquitectura Moderna do Porto”

(Oporto’s Modern Architecture Guide) and in the <“Dicionário de

Personalidades Portuenses do Século 20” (Dictionary of Oporto’s

Personalities of the 20 century) « Porto 2001 » - Capital of Culture - edition.



Some of his works are mentioned in portuguese and foreign publications.
